Charlotte Corderoy, who is conducting tonight’s concert, has just won a 2025 Critics’ Circle Award for Conductor of the Year, and has also made her debut conducting the London Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra.
Before the interval, we will hear Simona Sindrestean, our own principal oboist, as soloist in Mozart’s Oboe Concerto.
