Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester - Mozart and Beethoven

Beethoven's 4th Symphony is often described as his most bright, elegant and humorous symphony – almost like a respite between the more dramatic neighboring works.

Time & Location

25 Feb 2027, 19:30 – 23:30

Alsion Concert Hall, Alsion, 6400 Sønderborg, Denmark

About the event

Programme:

  • Gioachino Rossini: Overture to The Barber of Seville

  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Oboe Concerto in C major

  • Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 4

Charlotte Corderoy, who is conducting tonight’s concert, has just won a 2025 Critics’ Circle Award for Conductor of the Year, and has also made her debut conducting the London Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Before the interval, we will hear Simona Sindrestean, our own principal oboist, as soloist in Mozart’s Oboe Concerto.
