Fasten your seat belts for Flight, a heartwarming opera full of drama, humour and profound beauty.

Set in an airport terminal over the course of a night, would-be passengers, crew and airport workers are stranded by a storm. Unable to escape the airport and each other, events and revelations unfold leading to life changing moments and realisations.


Centred on a stateless refugee, Flight is based on the true story of a man who was forced to live at Charles de Gaulle Airport for 18 years, trapped and unable to prove his identity, and who inspired the 2004 film The Terminal starring Tom Hanks.

Around the Refugee revolves a collection of characters who are brought to life with a fine balance of comedy and poignancy. Two married couples, one trying to revive the romance and one expecting an arrival of their own, a lovelorn woman and two hot-blooded flight attendants are…
